Hey Guys! Long time, No Post! Sorry about that....After AC wrapped on season 1 of Speed Racer I was so tired of not seeing daylight I packed my bags, bought a plane ticket and lived in Italy for the month of September and then when I got back, I rolled right into another production for October but now that I'm out and have some free time on my hands again, I'll have to get this Blog rolling again...more post coming soon and maybe even some animation I did at work...lol. Usually I'm not a big fan of old television Anime but I have a soft spot for the Muscle fest that was Dragon Ball Z...lol I used to get up at 5am in the morning to catch episodes they used to play before Saturday morning cartoons way back before Cartoon network came around. Anyway I came across these two original, sequential animation drawings on the World Wide Web for nine bucks each! They have the key numbers and color notes on the side...I just had to grab 'em....I know this is'nt an art related post but I was so excited about it I had to make a post on it.

Here are some quick layout roughs for work that I did...I'm kinda happy with 'em so I decided to post them! Also for the only two people that probably check this blog I promise this will be the last SR related post for a while...lol. I feel like its kinda cheating to post this stuff instead of my own person work but I've been away from the blog for a few weeks now busy with work and writing, something needed to go up here.

I hope you guys enjoyed my SR extra of me...maybe he'll end up in an episode...hmm

Too bad the Grindhouse movies tanked in the theater a while back...I kinda liked them and I thought it was a really cool experiment but it looks like I'm in the minority as usual. Anyway here's a scribble I did during a break at work cause I'm so tired of working in someone else's style everyday...and cause the character was on my mind from watching "Death Proof" last night.

I decided to give him a lady friend...I kinda like the way they look together so I think I might use these two as a basis for a project I want to develop for myself

Here's a quick doodle I did before I left work today....I'm not a huge fan of it..pose & style feels like a copy of the iron man one I did before. Maybe later tonight I'll update this post with a cool night wing pose! Oh...and I based off this little statue i saw.

SUPER DELUXE POST CHALLENGE!

I'm not sure if you guys have made it over to Adam's Blog yet...but we've challenged each other to at least a post a day all thru the month of April so thats at least 30! we're on day 3 and I'm two days behind...lol...so it looks like over the weekend I'm gonna have to do some make up post. Anyway here's a doodle of Iron Man since he's finally getting his own movie...I'm not too happy with the sketch but its the best one I've done in the last 3 days...I hated the other ones so much I don't even wanna post 'em. Oh..and if anyone else wants in we got an extra blog going so let me know if ur up for the challenge.

My Final for Schoolism.com!

I was a little short on time for it so I borowed a pose from an old drawing of mine for this new character...fixed it, cleaned it up nice, and colored it.....I know its not perfect but I'm pretty happy with it.

My first quick attempt with the Good Doctor's Turn around....it still needs work, especially the front view, but I'm semi-happy with it....by the way I'm working on a really fun Wonder Woman piece in Painter...I'll post it as soon as I get some free time to finish it!

Hello All! Work has been great but kinda slow these last few weeks while we're waiting to get on the next batch of episodes so its given me a bunch of time for scribbling and my homework. I wanted to post these two sketches I did in flash cause I kinda liked them...I just realized as I'm typing this that they're both Nintendo fan art and if you have no clue who these characters are...the angel dude is Pit from kid Icarus and Smash bros brawl and the beaver looking thing waiving at you is a little Pokemon named Bidoof! so please dont hurt his feelings and wave back.

Ever since I was a kid I've always had a crush on Wonder Woman...the coolest DC super heroine ever...so here's a really quick doodle of my real valentine! Shh...don't tell my GF about my Wonder Woman fetish...I already get enough weird looks from her for just being an animator...lol.

These are the sketches for my first assignment from Stephen's Class...I kinda like how the final sketch came out but the final color looks like crap so I'm not gonna post it...someone needs to teach me how to do clean up!
