Three Post in one day...Its a new record! I've been away from the blog scene for so long I thought I was due for it. Anyway, this is a quick character design sketch of Han for a personal animation project of mine...because I hav'nt animated anything decent in a while I'm gonna take about 40seconds of dialogue from the movie and animate to it.

Some old little fun things I've done for the "Collective"...

Do you ever feel like all you do is work but you still get nothing accomplished and dont make enough money....Oh well, here are some sketchs for a Flash game I'm re-designing for work, and a quick sketch of Timmy Turner I did over lunch.

He'll save children , but not the british children...

Hmm....So I guess the blogger scene is starting to die down now that sept is here and everyone is working harcore but I'm gonna toss these scribbles from my latest sketch session with Adam and Tim. Hopefully I can really start fleshing out a personal project of mine once I'm done moving and stuff...Oh well, later guys.

It's been so long since I updated the blog with anything, but I promise In the next few days I'm gonna thoss up some sketches from this Idea that I'm fleshing out...but till then, here are some pics of what Adam and I do durring our free time...lol.

*Wed thru Fri I finally have some free time from work so I'm gonna do nothing but draw from morning to night...Lets hope I get something good out of it.


* This year I am going to the Ottawa 06 International Animation Festival ( Sept 20-24 ) and I am thinking of planning a group trip to it. Does anyone think its a good idea...and if so, do you want in? I'm gonna check flights, hotels, and prices for everything. Leave a comment to let me know what you think.

Since I hav'nt really been doing to much lately to move my career forward... I've decided to take a Character Design Test to see if maybe I can get somewhere. Its a take home so I decided to start a little bit tonight and do the rest tomorrow, so here's a rough sketch of the Pirate character...and a "Chibbi" version of him.

I'm not really sure why but I rarely ever do fan art, but for some reason I was just in the mood to scribble down Sora, from Kingdom Hearts...one of the wierdest, yet best video games fanchises of all times.

Just another friday night...

So...I guess I got a job, I am now an Official Employee of Urban Outfitters. Which is cool but blows at the same time, cause i'm selling clothes and not drawing. Oh well...at least it'll give me the chance to get the left over cash I need for my tablet pc and I wont have to color with a mouse ever again. Anyway, heres something I started last night...its Drop Dead Fred! I used to love the movie as a kid and I've been giving myself little character exercises' so when end of august beginning of sept rolls around I'll have a big sample of Character designs for the Portfolio.

I guess i've been kinda little lazy lately with the sketchbook, but I cant help it right now...I've been kinda running around looking for a "regular" job just for the moment to pay for a tablet pc and stuff, but anyway here are these two little doodles I keep drawing on cocktail napkins at bars, good stuff comming....I swear.

... I feel like I have a million projects to do and I cant finish any of them, its driving me nuts. I have to finish up the business cards, the hand-out portfolio, the Save 2d stickers, and finally finish and put up the website...but i cant till I get a wacom pad so I can clean and color everything. But I'm so low on Cash...It suck balls! Anyway I havnt updated in a few days so I wanted to toss up something from the sketchbook. Sorry, if u can understand what the images are because of the messy-ness but its some gesture scribbles and thumbnails for the website set up. I'm doing characters of myself and the other three animators who are sharing the site...I've got one of Joe, and I'll toss up Adam, Arlington and myself when I get them done.

Here's something I did on the train really quick, since I'm been trying to learn Flash on my own I needed a character to practice with, so I think I'm gonna use him.

These are some screen shots that i found on my old hard drive from a Duck and Cover PSA I did two years ago with help from Candy Kugel. It came out kinda cool, the style worked, and I even put a really cool film damage filter on the finished product. I have it on youtube.com under Defence against the H-Bomb, but the audio is screwed up, when I fix it up I'll toss it up and get rid of these.

Well for the last day or two I've been working out a cool design for some stickers that I'm gonna have printed. I'm gonna make them so I can hand them out to people when they take a look at my portfolio and it'll have my website address on the bottom. The Test ones where done in marker,and when i'm really happy with a design i'll re-do them in photoshop and send them out for printing.


(I did them in marker on the post office address labels so ignor the ups address...lol)

Look what I found under my desk when I was cleaning up...I was looking like crazy for this back in December.

Hey guys, I hope Adam doesnt mind me posting this but i'm helping him out on his thesis for next year and here are two of his main characters that I started playing around with in the old sketchbook, they are based of his original designs, i'm kinda happy with the way they came out but the tall guy needs some more work.


* maybe I'll get his designs and post them side by side so you can see what he did and what i did.

Heres something i've kinda had in my head the last few days...its going to be for some business cards i'm going to have made....I'll put up the finshed color product in the next day or two. I'm really happy the way it came out, and the first recent piece of artwork to go on the blog...
