Morning Scribbles!

I'd love to do more of these...it would be kinda fun to fill up a page of about 20 or 28 and clean them up.

--So recently in an attempt to drag myself out of an artistic slump, I decided to start studying something new...take a guess at what I chose! I've been taking some classes and this is my first assignment. "Take a room you are very familair with and model it in Maya" so I used my office. I feel its been coming out pretty decent considering I've never really modeled something this intricate before. Hopefully I can model the rest of the stuff in there and have it done by Friday so then I can try throwing light and texture in the mix.

It's March and you know what that means!

Someone liked my Hostess Mascots sketches so much that I got a quick freelance gig to do in my spare time. A Black and white Mascot for a small burger place here in the city! lol, its not much but its what they wanted, simple, round and no sesame seeds.

I liked him better with no arms but apparently that didn't fly with them.

A friend of mine does suspension shows so I thought it would be fun to do a piece...still working on it though...the line texture doesnt show up in this pic so, I'll have to export a higher res one later

I hope my letter gets to Santa this year cause I'd kill for a Cintiq, and since the screen on my tablet PC looks like its on its way out....I'd prefer not to get a Wacom Tablet, cause I'm sure you guys all know how I feel about those things.

Hey Guys! Long time, No Post! Sorry about that....After AC wrapped on season 1 of Speed Racer I was so tired of not seeing daylight I packed my bags, bought a plane ticket and lived in Italy for the month of September and then when I got back, I rolled right into another production for October but now that I'm out and have some free time on my hands again, I'll have to get this Blog rolling again...more post coming soon and maybe even some animation I did at work...lol. BRB

Usually I'm not a big fan of old television Anime but I have a soft spot for the Muscle fest that was Dragon Ball Z...lol I used to get up at 5am in the morning to catch episodes they used to play before Saturday morning cartoons way back before Cartoon network came around. Anyway I came across these two original, sequential animation drawings on the World Wide Web for nine bucks each! They have the key numbers and color notes on the side...I just had to grab 'em....I know this is'nt an art related post but I was so excited about it I had to make a post on it.

Here are some quick layout roughs for work that I did...I'm kinda happy with 'em so I decided to post them! Also for the only two people that probably check this blog I promise this will be the last SR related post for a while...lol. I feel like its kinda cheating to post this stuff instead of my own person work but I've been away from the blog for a few weeks now busy with work and writing, something needed to go up here.

I hope you guys enjoyed my SR extra of me...maybe he'll end up in an episode...hmm
